Come in number 4

We went blackberry picking today at Farley Mount near Winchester in the hope of finding some blackberries to go with our apples to make what my grandchildren call ‘black pie’. We had a nice walk through the woods and were successful in our search although not as much as in previous years. We then called into the local farm shop and saw some very sweet piglets in the field as well as these sheep. There were about 6 sheep with their lambs, each daubed with a corresponding number. It rather amused me, as if the lambs might only be able to find their mum by looking for the right number! Very cute though!
