Sunrise (and Sunset)

I don't know how many other people saw this cloud formation at sunrise this morning.  I always tend to think that these things are quite specific to the area, but I was surprised to see a BBC Weather Watchers image from Peterborough of their sunrise and it was remarkably similar.  Perhaps these clouds are at high altitude and could be seen across the country.

Even more unusual was that a similar front of clouds was present as the sun set tonight, but we were sitting down to dinner and I didn't get the chance to capture it.

I took a good walk this morning along local canals and footpaths.
