A Rose by any other name than 'GORGEOUS'...

...would not describe this beauty! Yes, that is the actual name.
I rescued it from the bush, as it was lying in the soil, still attached but on a thin stem. It looked a bit sorry for itself at first but has perked up in a glass on the kitchen windowsill.
It smells divine! ('Scuse my dirty windows! :-[] )

This morning we had to drive into Skipton to collect my new reading glasses from Boots. My 3rd new specs in a month - so now I have reactive light varifocals and also specs for close up work and now just plain readers.
I also went to Tesco's to return the super-duper Samsung phone with the 5 camera lenses. I'm glad to see the back of it!
It was far too complicated for me even though the man said it does it automatically...IT DOESN'T!
I said to the girl today 'I want a phone camera that I can just point and shoot.' She and the other man both said 'But you can do that with the Samsung.' I said 'No, you can't!'.
Anyway, I got the feeling they didn't want me to swap for the £40 cheaper Motorola model but I was quite insistent.
I've tried the new one out and the camera works like my old one! I don't need or want anything fancy, it's only to record my daily doings.

Frank and I are still feeling wabbit. We keep thinking we're perking up but then the least little thing seems to be so much effort and wipes us out. So we're still taking it easy and slow.
