Weeping Cherry

They say the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. This weeping cherry (prunus subhirtella pendula) adorns my front lawn. It is 20 years since it was planted and was one of three trees given to me and Mrs Wild as a wedding present. They are still going strong and give us great pleasure but this one especially in the spring. The other two, a silver birch and rowan are at the bottom of my back garden. I would like to bet not many couples are still getting pleasure out of their toasters or alarm clocks 20yrs on!!!
