Footprints

There was dew on the ground this morning, it must be September! I love the change of the seasons. The pigeons (or chickens as Bea calls them) magpies and jackdaws come to the garden early morning, every day because I throw out the crust from the girls sandwiches for them. The magpies pick them up, dip the bread in the bird bath and then eat them. Sometimes they leave them to soak a while and come back. Clever little birds.
