Dogs Allowed, Faversham

Bank Holiday Monday today so it had to feature a trip - the day wouldn't be complete otherwise. So, we decided to do micro trip to Faversham in the borough of Swale in Kent.
A micro trip, according to rules we have made up ourselves, involves spending under two hours at said location while still fitting in a walk around, a photography session (necessarily short) and a an alcoholic beverage at a local hostelry. All was present and correct today - and the sun popped for the most part as well - it was a rather perfect, compact little trip! Today's main image is of a closed charity shop window - if it had been open I may well have gone in and bought the dog!
The extras were all taken at Standard Quay, an area of the town we have never been to before and it was a lovely place to visit. As for the town itself, I would call it handsome - historic, beautifully set out and quite gorgeous to look at. A treat if you love historic buildings and a relaxing atmosphere.
