Ice Cold in Argentina

Wow. I'd never seen a glacier before, so to be so close to the Moreno Glacier, down in the Patagonia region of Argentina, was, well, breathtaking.

The sheer scale, the cracking sounds like gunfire as it moves the colours... It might sound silly, but I spent an enjoyable hour just looking.

It's rare in the region as it's a stable glacier - all of the others are in retreat. It moves about 2 metres a year.
