Devil's Bit Scabious

We have had a super summer up here. So many wild flowers have excelled themselves, flowers everywhere, bigger clumps of them and the bees are loving them.

Up on the cliff path the Devil's Bit Scabious is lovely to see, dancing in the breeze. I always start to get worried that it has died out and then it appears!

On the shore there are dozens of jelly fish. It happens every year about this time. A mass stranding of them.  Although they are dead, I keep Lottie away from them. I'm never that sure which ones are dangerous and which aren't, but it's not worth risking it, and she is a very inquisitive little Schnauzer!
