Windfalls

The weather continues to be quixotic. 3 weeks after record breaking heat we now have the opposite and yesterday seemed really cold. The nights are down into single figures. We have had strong winds too, many trees have lost their fruit, our gain in this instance.

Today is a public holiday (known in UK as a bank holiday), it is predicted to be the coldest August Bank Holiday on record.
