Pink to make the boys wink

A good nights sleep for the second night in a row :-))

We had jobs to do today, but first I popped out to pick up the newspaper, hub stayed home, so I walked home the longer route at a pace :-)

When I got back hub had already made a start on the rather tall laurel hedge between us and our neighbours. It was planted beside our house by the landscapers when our houses were built and is totally unnecessary and an absolute chore to keep on top of. Its looking a lot better now....2foot lower and a good foot off its width !!

After a turkey salad sandwich for lunch hub mowed the back lawn, i did some clearing of plants in the borders that are beginning to die back. The green bin in now overflowing !!

Had a little garden walk with my camera for todays blip.....these mid pink anemones flower quite late, still plenty of buds to open.

Roast chicken went into the oven late afternoon for this evenings Sunday dinner, which was rather lovely, with roasters, carrots, cauliflower cheese & brocolli. Still feeling rather full ;-)

Watching Countryfile at the mo, looking forward to the new Strike drama at 9, enjoyed the previous ones. Then we have another episode of The Bridge to watch later too :-)
