Blooms

When the new hospital was built in Kirkwall, they also made a small park nearby. Lockdown has stopped a lot of the finishing but there are loads of flowers out now, a great resource for bees and other insects. The park includes several small ponds which I expect to be a great habitat for dragonflies, damselflies, water beetles etc. I did glimpse my first damselfly there today- I think a common blue, but it was away before I could photo it.
