Fossil Hunting

After doing another maprun orienteering event on Birkrigg Common we looked for things to do close by. Mum saw that there was a place where lots of fossils could be seen so that looked like fun. The fossils were on boulders used to build a barrier against the tide. There were probably hundreds but my untrained eye could only find these ones pictured.
