A bit breezy

It's hard to think it was only two days since we'd been walking here in spring-like sunshine!

It was howling SE winds with waves as far as you could see at the estuary mouth. The seals weren't so much basking as hunkering low and trying to avoid the cold water.

The strong winds had created alternate strips of blown sand between bare flats of pebbles, giving some really interesting patterns on the beach. There were rain showers offshore and certainly a day to clear your head.

Surprisingly there weren't many walkers today - wonder why?
