Incoming tide
A beautiful morning with loads of folk enjoying a walk at the beach at Newburgh. The estuary water looked so still you could almost feel a bit continental.
There were a huge number of seals basking in the sun, which you can see in the blip. A couple were even able to get really close to photograph them. With a large number swimming about in the incoming tide, there looked to be well over a hundred seals today.
The tank stops gave a nice bit of foreground and the white eaves of the houses on the riverside in the distance also lend a bit of interest.
