The Right Decision
I kept equivocating about whether or not to go for a run this afternoon. I wanted to, but at 35.5 degrees I thought it might be too hot. Eventually, I decided to go for it. Experience has taught me that I always feel great after a run, even if I dreaded it beforehand. So, 22 kilometres it was.
Bizarrely, after half an hour of running in hot sunshine, the sky turned dark, the rain poured down, thunder roared and lightning flashed. Nevertheless, I powered on.
After about twenty minutes, the rain stopped and I was treated to some dramatic skies.
Definitely the right decision.
After the rain. Lingering thunder.
