Salts Mill!

Just fantastic to be back in Salts Mill! It only reopened on the 14th August having been shut for the entirety of lockdown.

There's a one way system, track and trace and the usual social distancing etc in place. However, none of these new guidelines detract from the lovely atmosphere in the book shop. It really is just beautiful! I could spend a fortune on books for school...and pretty writing books...and journals...

Also enjoyed a walk along to canal to The Five Rise Locks despite the unexpected rainfall. It's never far away at the moment!

It's Tour de France viewing season again, later than the usual face for obvious reasons, but a treat all the same. I'm sad there's no Geraint Thomas this year though. Fantastic to see Lizzie Deignan win La Course too. :-D
