Emerald

Last day of our staycation which involved an almost 2 hours drive to the most southern point of Skye. We headed for the supposedly best beach in Skye, one of the few that has white sand. After yesterday's midgefest and washout weather wise, we struck lucky with some sunny weather though there was a distinct cooler feel. Mrs P and I even ventured into the pristine water and rather unsurprisingly, it was icy cold. After much thrashing about, however, the body adjusts and it turned out to be a glorious last swim of the summer.
