Maiden voyage

The camper van (in which I have an interest) arrived this morning, Magnus having flown to Exeter yesterday and driving it back up to Scotland. They are now on their inaugural trip, to the Borders, Lorne driving and Islay navigating.
Spent the afternoon in the library and then experimenting with acrylics, mixing titanium white with mars black, the colour, by coincidence of the camper van.
Possibly also the colour of an alleged rodent which has, apparently, been sighted somewhere in the policies. As a result bird feeding on the ground floor has been temporarily suspended. I am hopeful that my suet contraption will become more popular and may even attract the woodpecker if he/she can a grip. It also means that the squirrels are foraging elsewhere.
