Our own bit of Croatia

Mum gave me this plant quite a few years ago, saying she didn’t think it would survive the winter. It has in fact survived many winters, and absolutely flourished this year! So pretty. Our Croatian island was full of them, so it brings back good memories.
Andy and I (much more Andy) rebuilt the top of our brick wall in the front garden today. We’re pretty proud of our efforts. Doug would have helped, but was called in to do some emergency cctv’ing.
Had a hilarious FaceTime chat with Dad, who’s still in hospital after his op on Friday. He’s doing well but has a bit of a temp/infection, and his heart has been doing racing things. Sending love, my blood group twin. B Positive! xx
Oh, and I also re-pointed the patio under the plant.
