Inaccesible fruit
So here is the inaccessible fruit (from yesterday's journal) – a thriving apple tree growing on the rocky bank of the White Cart Water. It’s still raining today and the river is less cappuccino like, more bicarb and vinegar. No ducks anywhere, they must be holed up somewhere sheltered. The extra shot is the apples close up - they look delicious.
Disappointed that my walking holiday in Northumberland has been cancelled, the option to switch to Glencoe is a possibility…
