Blossom waves

With life slowed down by Covid, this is the first year when I have noticed how long it takes for all the different types of spring blossom to emerge.
 
The pink blossoms seemed to come first, and they have been budding in waves, for weeks, if not for months. Now it seems the white blossoms are starting to take over.
 
It’s quite hard to remember now that when Covid began all those months ago, we were enjoying the colours of autumn leaves on these same trees.
