A Natural Interest

All my kids now seem to have developed an enthusiasm for birds and wildlife. It was a strong childhood interest of mine and I've not pushed it on them, but they appear to have it in their nature, shall we say.

I spent the evening on the sofa with all three of them, talking about different kinds of birds and looking at pictures in my British birds book and listening to their sounds on a bird app I have.

Feeding the birds in our back garden has been a catalyst for all this interest. Now I'm onto the subject of habitat with the oldest, there are more serious questions being asked. Before we know it, we'll have a green activist in our house...
