Mask Up!
Today was a good day for sewing as it poured down most of the day.
I made a couple more masks each then made another dress with the same New Look pattern as the other two.
The one I made today is in mustard coloured linen which I think will look nice with a navy stripey top underneath and if it's cold could be worn with leggings.
I also made dinner - a rarity these days!
Frank had driven over to Newcastle to pick up a 2nd hand busker's amplifier he bought on ebay so I thought I'd have a meal ready for when he got home. I made Butter Bean tomato pasta with chopped spinach in and vegan cheddar grated on top. We also shared it with Ian - the boat repairer who is staying on a boat next to ours while he is fixing it up for the owners. Ian has really hurt his back and can barely walk with it. Frank took him a pan full and put it on a plate for him.
Despite the stormy weather there have been loads of hire boats and a few private ones up and down the canal. I wouldn't like to be at the tiller in this wind. I suppose if you've booked a week you just have to take it and make the best of it.
I'm really tired now!
Goodnight :-) zzzZZZ
