Community Celebration Event...

This morning I was still hanging around at home waiting for a call from the eye specialist. Though why I hung around at home I don’t know because the signal is so bad that it drops just about every call that comes in. 
Around lunchtime Amanda the optom phoned to see how I got on and was not at all amused that I hadn’t heard anything. 
I was actually on the bus on the way to my geocaching event when the call came through to ask whether 9.30 tomorrow was a convenient time for an appointment with the eye consultant. Perfect! I am having lunch with a friend tomorrow so it will be all done out the way before that. 
The geocaching event was great. I originally meant it to be on the beach with maybe a sand castle building completion and certainly fish and chips on the beach but the Storm Francis winds put paid to that so we moved indoors to the Rockmount. 
Two Guernsey and two Isle of Man cachers stayed on with me for a really delicious meal. So an excellent  evening!
