High Winds

I try to go for a short walk around the village before I start work each day.  This morning is was wet and breezy enough for me to need to hold my hat on as I walked.  As I rounded a corner I came across this sight - a tree surgeon felling a tall pine tree in one of the cottage gardens.  He'd nearly finished taking the branches off the trunk.  Good to get the tree felled before the strong wind took hold this afternoon c/o Storm Frances.  Funny thing is I walk past this garden most days, at least once, and I have never noticed the tree towering above the roof tops.  Its gone 9pm and the wind is still rattling the roof tiles but due to become more subdued over night.  Hope your day has been calm.
