. . . there will be many such images, but how else to mark a day like today - rain, rain, rain. 

However, it is good to be at the Edinburgh Festival, even though it is only virtual. And last night I watched a re-run of an event I was signed up to but missed as we were away - a conversation between Nicola Sturgeon and Bernardine Evaristo, two thoughtful, eloquent women talking and, just as importantly, listening to each other. Worth catching it if you can.
