Puppy-No-Name (yet)
Off for my Monday morning torture session, but today Kate’s long awaited puppy was in residence! How exciting. And what a sweet wee thing she is. She has no name yet. She’s very quiet and peaceful and loves cuddles. She slept all through my session, despite my usual exaggerated squawks of ‘pain’, which were deliberately louder when Toni was leaving a calm voice message to a prospective customer.
However, once I was finished and changed I could come and meet her. I suggested a few names, but Kate’s daughter will name her when she comes home on Wednesday.
After that I took the bus down the road to the shop where I could send back my unwanted bike pedals, then walked home - past the French pastry shop for a coffee, the pet shop for poo bags, and the bike shop to show the chap a new pedal solution sent by my Cycling Scotland friend (both called Sam). He didn’t think it would work either. So I’m going to work on Plan B - ie the seat is down a bit, I can just about touch the ground while seated, I’ll practise this setting, and maybe move it down a bit over time.
A lazy afternoon - JR took Archie out to the Meadows, where they met wee Maggie (the border terrier). She’s coming tomorrow morning again for a walk with Robert and Archie. If the latest storm heading our way hasn’t reached us by then...
I hear that Generation Z don’t like full stops, they find them ‘intimidating’ !!
Whatever next?
