My first handbag cake

Jon asked me if I could make this Hermes Birkin handbag for his friend’s birthday today.

She actually has this bag and loves Birkins so all her friends decided that this would be the best idea for a cake. Jon was with me all the way, with regard to the details. It took about 9 hours but I got it done.

Really pleased with how it turned out. Jon let us know later that Danise cried when she saw the cake and didn’t want to cut it. And they didn’t cut it ... she took it home so her family could have it too.

Jon said that she wouldn’t cut the cake the next day either!
