while the kids were enjoying the last moments on the piste Mr Spitzi, Sam the Dog and I went on a hunt for ice and icicles. The icicles have been very disappointing this time and I will be putting in a complaint about it because I wanted some that were as big as me. Maybe I sent my measurements wrong but, as far as I know, I am bigger than 50cm!
Anyway, brave Mr Spitzi dared to put his bare hands into this very cold water and fish out a big piece of ice so he could drop it for me to photograph. He really is a hero!

We're back in Spitziland now and have the house heated up and are heading for Monday and harsh reality. All except Mr Spitzi who is enjoying telling us that he has two weeks of holiday ahead of him.....
