Soaked.

I'd noticed how fabulous the wildflowers were on a Missy walk this week, but it was too wet to get any decent photos.
So I planned to go back today.
I even waited for blue sky.
We set out in bright light and warn sun.
And then, when we were a mile from the car.... We suddenly found ourselves underwater. We might as well have gone for a fully clothed swim. It took 15 minutes to walk back to the car, and by the time we reached it the road was starting to flood.
It's been incredibly wet today.

But I do have some lovely flowers to show for it...
