Basement

Around the corner from us, the basement concrete has been poured.  This was a 5m deep hole.  This shows the rebar around which the concrete was put in. Almost all the wooden shuttering has come off.  It's now more obvious that these are actually to be two houses, with a narrow alley between. 

The smoke was thick for most of the day, but started to clear out in the late afternoon. This was taken in the early evening - first time for a while it's been cool enough to go out to walk after supper.
