Old farm, today a hiking rest house

There was open day for public today, so after late brunch and visiting my step-mom we got there, me and hubby.

The Kortejärvi outdoor area is part of the old Kortejärvi farm, which became the property of the city in the 1990s. The structures of the farm were restored respecting the spirit of old times and the lovely courtyard environment with wood-heated saunas can be rented for use by Tampere-based associations, clubs and companies all year round.

Today the Nature League was offering pancakes and buns with coffee there. As we had eaten lunch with my step-mom (we bought so much food that she could eat with us), we drove here in the woods for dessert
