Dying Oak Tree

A landmark on our daily dog walks, I had posted this oak tree earlier. This year’s severe drought, the third in a line, has dried out most of the tree’s leaves in August already. Growing on sandy soil, the tree is not able to cope with the extreme climate. - The sloes on the contrary are healthy (extra).
