Ripening grapes

Many of the grapes to which we have free access next door are ripening nicely although some bunches have withered.  Shopping in the village involved the usual meetings and conversations that make the market such a pleasant place to shop unless you are in a hurry, I bought my mussels for lunch and then returned to book a return to the UK next month to catch up with things that will need to be done. I hope to return to France later in the autumn. We have some friends coming from the coast to ring the bells tonight and tomorrow and we will go out for a meal tonight.
