Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Evening sky

Another in day today, catching up with housework and trying to work out how to deal with an ipad, a new MacBook and the contents of my old Windows laptop. Then there is the fact that I have an Android phone..... just to complicate things.
I've managed to move all my docs and pics from the laptop to onedrive. However that doesn't include the pics on my phone which are backed up to Google and Amazon. There are just too many options and as the saying goes, "that way lie dragons", I haven't even mentioned icloud either!
I checked the garden in prep for the storm which is forecast, the sweet peas are phenomenal this year so many to pick and share, the house smells lovely.
My runner beans are just about to become a landslide there are so many. Hope the wind doesn't wreak havoc. We've managed to keep up so far, but I foresee a freezing session or three ahead! We've been enjoying courgettes too, two of my three plants have done really well, one in the ground and one in half of a growbag. The plant in the other half of the grow bag had a couple of decent courgettes but has now been sacrificed to the snail gods!
Evening prayer this evening via Zoom before dinner then we shared the evening 's bridge session. I played the first half then Colin took over and I went out for a walk before it got dark. The sky looks remarkably calm to the South West, let's hope it stays that way.

Keep well everybody
