Au revoir, La Rocca
As the legal work around the house purchase inches its way forward, we found that we were perhaps a little optimistic in having or "au revoir, La Rocca" meal, this evening. Still, diaries had been coordinated and everyone was happy to proceed with the meet up, so we went ahead regardless.
I love this little Italian in restaurant, about half a mile north of Chorley's town centre. We've had so many happy meals here and I have particularly enjoyed the ones where I've come straight from a swim, more than ready for a Peroni and a pizza.
(Problem with landscape group shots: whom to crop out for the thumbnail!)

Finished reading 'I Am Not Your Baby Mother' by Candice Brathwaite. As a white, British, middle-class man in his fifties, I feel badly placed to comment on this book. All I will say is that the facts - and they are facts - contained within are a national disgrace and scandalous. So, while the writing could (very) justifiably be bitter and angry, it is in fact measured and brilliantly delivered.
