Moving into Twilight
...after another lovely, cooler day. Once in awhile the temperatures of the Pacific Northwest, where my family roots are, and the Mid-Atlantic seem to swap their habitual patterns (though I think after a scorching weekend it's cooled off there too). In any event, these trees behind our house, mostly black walnuts, form a pretty solid wall of green in the summer. In winter they let us see through to the ridge beyond. The extra is a plane headed for the Leesburg Airport, where son D. and I used to go watch the helicopters and small planes while his sister was a few blocks away in her gymnastic class.
Hope you're all having a good week.
