Day 155

We had a lazy morning as we had booked a slot at RHS Wisley for 2pm. We took lunch with us and as we got out of the car the heavens opened so ate it in the car. 
we had a lovely wander round the newly planted lavender area before wandering to the orchard, Sadly the Bird Hide was closed still as s the glass house.It was a lot busier today than it has been in the past when we have gone. Rona enjoyed the afternoon . when we arrived home my daughter phoned to say that our grandsons partners dad passed away last night. He had a heart attack saturday and sadly didnt make it. Rona had a few tears after we told her and is obviously very sad but her mum has been in touch to make sure she is ok. We are taking her home tomorrow any way as she picks up GCSE results Thursday.
