Out for a Coffee!

I went for an early morning swim at the Lido, and Alan went to his shooting club, then a bit later in the morning, I took mum into Brighton.  I had to pick up some face masks that I'd ordered, so we parked in North Laine and wandered through the streets that are popular for street art.  Mum's never seen it before and she really enjoyed it, and commented how clever these artists are.

On our way back to the car, we stopped at a cafe that had plenty of outside tables and we had a drink.  We timed it well, as no sooner as we'd got to the car it started raining - it was very black out to sea and in no time at all the rain was torrential.  However later in the afternoon it had passed over and was hot an sunny again so we were able to sit out in the garden.

Mum's really enjoying her visit and has said how good it feels to be here and to be able to get out after 4 months of being in lockdown.
