Loudoun Mill
Daughter I. has about 13 more hours of after-dark driving to practice before she can get her license, and we're going to try to knock them out in the next month. Tonight we drove west along Route 7 toward the Blue Ridge (extra), making a stop at the mill. It was her first time driving the new car and she heartily approved. I was just a Little Bit Nervous with her on the dark narrow lanes, but hopefully I didn't yelp too much. When we got home I had to straighten up from leaning 45 degrees away from the side of the road.
John Campbell, fourth earl of Loudoun, never set foot in Virginia.
