The Grand old Lady.

Should plants be considered male or female? I don't know but I think of this ancient wisteria as an old lady and, joyfully, today I have discovered that her daughter has successfully rooted. A couple of years ago I found one of the annual whippy side shoots had started to produce a root where it had fallen to the ground so I secured that into a pot and left it. Today I found that it is growing well still attached to the parent so I have cut it away and repotted it. It is now in my nursery cut right back and supported.

After work I went to see RF (looking lovely with a newly trimmed hair cut) for a while. We looked around her blossoming garden and chatted with J&M.

I then went home to find my daughter was baking some lavender biscuits, they are very nice.
