Riverside

Murphy was due for his first visit to his usual groomer since lockdown and we were all going for the trip out. With him deposited RF, S, Willis and I went for lunch and a riverside walk in Alresford. Couldn't walk past the bookshop and inside a biography of George Bernard Shaw lep't off the shelf into my arms (I liked the cover! An extra surprise was waiting inside the rear cover, a newspaper cutting from 1956 about a rival book published the same year)

S and I then did some food shopping prior to the evenings planned online Ninebarrow concert. 

We all sat watching and I had a huge surprise, the very lovely RF had arranged for them to give me a birthday mention in their 'shout out' section. Thank you very much lovely lady.
