Tagetes erecta
On my hike today I passed many different flowers. This one (and all the hundreds others on the field) I liked most.
I think it is an African Marigold, but at least a Tagetes.
Thanks to BikerBear for hosting the challenge.
The extra is an Euplagia quadripunctaria, or Jersey tiger if you prefer English. A beautiful day-flying moth. The Germans call it a Russian Bear, the Dutch a Spanish Flag. (No wonder that I get confused and have to find my words.)
