Just reached home from a glorious day in the Derbyshire Dales where we had a 13 mike hike along various limestone valleys  , one with a stream that kept appearing and then disappearing. The river water was incredibly clear and there were lots of signs requesting  people and dogs to stay out of the water as it there are rare species of plants and creatures living in it . I thought Bramble would be hard work as she loves the water but she did very well. 
We spent the day with my two youngest brothers which was such a treat as we don’t get to meet up that often . 
The weather was perfect for walking , warm and sunny with a cool breeze . 
Too tired to make a meal so have just eaten a bowl of porridge - time for bed !
