Rooks

Perfect weather for golf this afternoon and as we walked to the 14th tee we were amused to see these rooks perching on a tree - we thought they looked like vultures waiting for a dead golfer ! 

There are usually dozens of rooks down on the course probing the grass with their massive beaks.    (The extra shows the general view.)
