Lyme Hall

We had another visit to Lyme Park today. It was a nice temperature for walking and there was plenty of shade. We walked up the hill to Lyme Cage, a folly built by the original owner for gentlemen to socialise at night. I don’t think their behaviour in there was very gentlemanly though. I’ve put a photo of it in extras.
I went to the toilets in the gardens and A. I didn’t know they were unisex so I was startled to see a man in there and B) there were 5 people in there and I was the only one wearing a mask. It stated clearly outside that masks were a requirement as the entrance and exit are very narrow. Not the best experience. Why won’t people follow the rules?
