Montbretia

It’s been incredibly hot here today. MrM put the thermometer on the garden bench and it said 48c. It was 30c in the shade. I didn’t spend much time outside so I went in the garden for a blip and nearly got drenched from the man next door watering his garden with a hosepipe. I don’t know why he’s pointing it vertically half the time. With hindsight I should have got wet to cool down. 
 A first for me today since Covid19 appeared, I ate something prepared by someone other than me. It was our next door neighbour’s birthday and he brought round some of his birthday cake.
