Bakewell

Most famous for its Pudding which is similar to, but better than, the Bakewell Tart.
Apparently 3 establishments in the town claim to have the original recipe. This is one of them and I must say the puddings are excellent. Yesterday Gorgeous Boy protested about the absence of puddings and tarts on two days staying in Bakewell, today we rectified the situation.
Another hot one. The kids have been in the river again. We stayed in trying to stay cool.
We like Edinburgh had the most amazing thunder and lightning last night. Never seen so many strikes one after another and it went on for hours.
