Garden Corner

Dear Diary,

The only time to be in the garden is very early in the morning now that it has heated up again, over 30C/90F yesterday here.  This quiet corner of the garden made me think of the beautiful White Garden designed by Vita Sackville-West at Sissinghurst in England that I visited years ago.  There is something about white in a garden that is so special.  I would be planting more but right now the heat and lack of rain is discouraging me.

What isn't discouraging is Joe Biden's choice of Kamala Harris as his running mate.  I couldn't be happier with the addition of this energetic, passionate fighter for human rights and the "little guy".  I will be ordering my yard signs soon!
