BACK TO THE GRINDSTONE...

CC & S are back from the south of France & life returns to the abnormal.

This wee grindstone is a very neat invention -  the slotted disk which you can see through the window in the protection wizzes round at 50,000 rpm.

When you switch it on (extra), thanks to the slots & the light above, you apply a tool to be sharpened underneath the disk & you can see exactly how much metal you're removing & where & if it's getting too hot & time to dunk it in a handy bowl of water.

With a bit of luck I'll get CC to photograph this process tomorrow as I need to get some chisels back on track...
